Will this fit? (Spur + Pinion)

Hi,
I bought 25T Pinion(0.8 MOD). I was wondering if this will fit with 62T Spur on E-revo motor mount plate (back side). I know that 65T is too big to fit with 25T but haven't tried 62T yet.
Also, I'm planning on lowering voltage down from 6S to 5S. What effect will this have(assuming same set up) performance wise? Will this increase the motor/esc heat?

i am running 23/65 so i dont see why your 25/62 shouldnt fit... if not you could go for a 58t spur or lower the pinion to 23 or 24

Why stick a big pinion with a big spur, that should give you a lot of torque. If you went down to a 58t spur it would be a little better for you, but still a lot of torque. someone correct me if I am wrong but: small pinion/large spur = a lot of torque/runs cooler, large pinion/small spur = a lot of speed/runs hotter. The set-up you are doing should pull wheelies the length of a football field.

I went looking through a couple of my LHS for larger pinions. No one has anything over 20. Is everyone special ordering these?

i ordered the extra hard 5mm bore 0.8 mod 23t robinson racing pinion through my LHS.. about $19 CDN

brett, without modification, 23T and 68T spur won't fit(22T and 68 does). Since your 23T and 65T manage to fit, i presume, 24T pinion will be the tightest fit for 62T spur. Accordingly, 25T won't get in without modification to the motor mount.
There are lots of places where you can order 5mm bore 32pitch pinions. check RC-Monster or Amainhobbies, for example.

how did you get your 23T and 65T to fit?????

This weekend , I used 25/56 . On 4s this flies , temps after a full run were 140 , outside temp was 50 degrees . All it wants to do is wheelie . I like this much better than the 18/58 I was running . The plan was to do 18/56 but it doesn't mesh up .
