Extra cooling ?

Anybody thought about cutting out the windshield or side windows for extra air flow?

You shouldnt need to if it geared/set up right .

I'm running stock gearing and a 2s 1750 mah lipo. After a fairly mild 5 min run plus the time to walk in the house to get my heat sensor the motor and ESC were about 130 degrees.

i've done it to a couple of bodies before but it really weekens the body. one time however, i cut my e-maxx body's front windshield about half way out and mounted 2 camber links to the rest and that keep it real sturdy. then i cut the back window out and took 2 L brackets and mounted them to the roof and bed then put a camberlink arcoss the bed from side to side to strengthen it and that made the back real sturdy. that body lasted me along time
