I was just wondering if I'm the only one that wishes Traxxas would make a Nitro 2wd Slash? Just something simple with a single speed, even with the Pro .15 I would buy one in a minute. What does everyone else think?

I think it could be done and could be cool, but I also no that some on here will tell you to buy a slayer and drop a diff. Either way, it would make for some cool action video and would be neat to see on the track, drifting the corners and flyin high.
To many projects....So little cash.
I believe i'm buying a 4-tec from you...lol. I would like to see traxxas make a 4wd slash myself. I like the e-maxx but think the slash being lighter with 4wd would be nice. Rob i noticed on a search you ran the VXL in the 4-tec...how did that go? Thats why i'm buying it. Got my system and SPC 3s 5000 waitin..lol.
I would like to see a 1/10 "Scale" rally car.

Oh hello lol. It worked well in the 4-tec, I didn't have the right gearing so the top end wasn't that high but the torque was great, it was drifing great even without drift tires. The stock 28t pinion wouldn't fit the VXL's shaft, so I used the 23t pinion from my Slash. If you gear it up it'll be a rocket.Originally Posted by will79dragrace
Yeah an E-Slayer would be a good idea too, and I do want a Slayer, I just think a nitro version of the slash would be a lot of fun, 4wd is great but sometimes 2wd is fun too, and a nitro Slash based off the nitro Stampede would be great as a first nitro for people just getting into it. I think spec class racing with a nitro Slash would be a lot of fun too.

At a local track I saw a Nitro Slash. A guy bolted the back part of a Nitro Stampede onto a Slash chassis. It had a Pro .15 on it. I thought it was pretty creative.
