I don't believe that is a good idea. Brushless and Brushed motors are worlds apart.

Why not? The MMM can handle brushed motors, and can also handle BL motors that can put out 6x as much power as two brushed motor.

Correct, just don't forget to wire it correctly for the brushed motor (stock or modified) and also reset the ESC settings for brushed.

I ran my E-Revo with the MMM last summer with two cheap brushed motors, a single 700HO and then a Dewalt motor. Everthing worked fine, just make sure to set the ESC properly.
    MMM/2200 powered E-Revo - sufficiently excessive

I want to run the dewalt with a MMM, but when I plug the Esc into the castle link, I have two option brushed high power, or brushed reversing, any idea which do I have to select? What other setting should I change? Already lowered the brakes, and set the LVD to 3.4v.

Brushed reversing is what you want, i think. Brushed high power requires a third wiring config that routes the battery's negative terminal directly to the motor.(no reversing that)

    Turn off punch delay.
