Will get some better pics later - quick cell phone shot.
Proline 40 Series Crime Fighters on Wabash rims. These are the 23mm/Revo offset Wabash. If you do go with Wabash wheels (they are D/C'd but can still be found) go with the 17mm which have much more offset.

Trencher on Desperado 1/2" OS
Really good tires, I used them on pavement, dirt, and sand, no wear at all I like the regulars more than the X, these tires are really tall as well.
I got some Bad lands on the same wheels, I bought a bunch of these wheels,
Next up is Mashers on Maximizer wheels in green or Blue geodes from a summit.
And how do you post pics to threads without a link?
Off to the hobby shop I go.
That was my question. Thanks. I forgot what thread I saw it in but they said they figured it out.

I posted these before, but here are my Talons on chrome Geode's using HPI 17mm hubs.

I bought a Erevo Brushless edition. I busted my Talon tire. I just ordered new Proline 40 3.8 with Axial oversize 8 spoke beaded rim from Ebay
The more research i do the more i get confused. So, the question is
" Will this tire w/ rim would fit in my Erevo brushless truck"
I still have time to change the order before its too late so quick response would be much appreciated.
OR
What rims should i get with Proline 40 3.8's.....
Please help !!!
Where can you get the summit wheels? there are none at the hobby shop and i can't find any rims only on ebay.
There's plenty on eBay- search for "Traxxas Geode wheels 5671"
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Traxxas-5671...-/390450696357
When you factor in shipping (for 2), most prices are the same. HopMeUp is one of the best sellers.

These are Proline Badlands 3.8 mounted on Ofna Hyper St wheels. I'm also running Integy 12mm extended hubs since these wheels have about 3/8" less offset than Geodes (technically they have 3/8" more offset but I won't go there lol). The Hyper St wheels have the Traxxas bead (or vice-versa).

i really like the revo on the first page with the hpi body but here is my setup hpi phatlines or the proline badlands on of set desperados

the Badlands
not to sure about the wheel extention......?? how are they holding up.........??
Would you go flip my truck back over??
I'm actually shocked at how well they are holding up. So far they are solid - Integy may have gotten something right this time. Now I haven't done major jumps (higher than 3 feet) but I would if i had the opportunity. I've done many cart-wheels on the street with Phaltlines on these extensions and they are holding up. Their new version has splined hexes. And I don't know of anyone else making extended hubs for stock Revo axles.
The main reason I got extensions was for the Phaltline/Blast combo - I wanted a wider stance for drifting. With 5s I can power-slide and do donuts on pavement all day.In fact, when its cold like today, I get horrible traction on pavement. May need to pull out the 40 series Road Rages for cold days.

tell me i didnt make a mistake, i wanted badlands and last night i only found the traxxas style tires and i dont like them. nor the fact that the traxxas rim is a bit wider than the tire.
so, as i didnt care much about taping the badlands (i think they dont 100% need taping) i ordered the mounted on desperados 3.8 BUT afterwards i saw they were 30 series. do they mean the rim? does it have larger profile than the 40 series? whats all that?
If memory serves, the 30 series is close to a 2.8 size. So yes they are the wrong size for the revo.

the title said 3.8 and the dimensions were the same with 40 series. 17mm hex also. i am just worried on the profile.
here is the listing:

^^^...Those are the right ones mate...I have the same combo...post #208...I bought mine loose and mounted.
I'm a Rock n Rolla !
ok fine.... i hope mine last without the tape. or else i will boil again and i HATE it.
they do look small to be honest. but small=light so it has a good aspecti loved the look of my big joes.
Don't worry, like Craig said, you got the 3.8" size (correct ones). The ad is wrong - they are not 30 series. In fact, they are not any kind of "series" - The term "Series" is Pro-Line's naming convention to classify tires. These are 3.8 and they are classified as "Traxxas Style Bead."
The Desperado wheels are exactly the same width as Traxxas 3.8 rims (and Hyper St wheels) - I have all 3.
Mine have 2 layers of carpet tape a la BaldyDaniels, plus one strip of Scotch branch duct tape = 250g - very light. They will feel like feathers compared to the 420g Big Joe's you had mounted on Axial rims.
This is not directly related to your post, but I've seen people talk about weights of rim/tire combo without taking the weight of the wheel into account - not all 40 series wheels weight he same
weights taken with my scale:
Axial 8 Spoke 40 Series (not beadlock) = 120g
Proline 40 Series = 75g
Traxxas 3.8/Desperado 3.8/Hyper St 3.8 wheels: ~ 72g
