i own a paris (35 dollars), and a cvec (50 dollars). I know that the 360 is good but not as good as the cvec. its probably equal to the paris pipe. The bad thing with the 360 is that it has too many bends in the manifold which reduces the horsepower a lot. cvec is the best because it allows you to change the settings on your low end and high end. it makes my engine run very cool. it never overheats. it packs loud noise and amazing power. i found that the paris is better for on road racing. i use paris pipes in my on roads.

its 50 total. it includes a decal sheet. a grey thingy to connect the pipe and the manifold but u do not need to use it. it fits perfectly on the nitro rustler. it also includes instructions on how to change the settings.

I can't speak for the paris or the cvec pipes but I do have the MIP 360* Stinger pipe. It gave my Rustler very quick throttle response off the line and out of the corners which is what I needed for racing. I did not notice any difference in top end speed, but then again the backstretch at my local race track is only about 60-80 feet long.

I got the 360 and i really kicks... it has great acceleration, the front wheels will leave the ground... It will ride a wheelie till it flips or tops out....

I have a cvec pipe, My brother has a 360 stinger and another friend has a ripple pipe.

The stinger is the fastest off the line.
    second is the ripple pipe.
cvec is last off the line but by far the best low-mid, mid and high. flat out.
so depends on what your doing. We are all happy with the different set ups for the type of playing we do.

well guys, all in all i think i'll stick to my backorder...I'm sure It'll be better to be first off the line than the fastest overall...considering the tracks will have demanding ramps that need quick acceleration...plus the wheelies look kewl! hahah...laterz!

How do you fit the 360 stinger pipe on a picco .15 engine with picco exhaust (round exhaust)?

dg, you can't. i have been very happy with the paris turbo ring pipe and the stinger, one thing i hate about the cvec is that is is not race legal for those who race at track with roar rules and regulations. it is also a pain to maintain because it has pieces inside the engine so you have to clean it out every noe and then.

Has anyone tried runnning a CVEC pipe with the internal baffel removed?
I was thinking about trying it this weekend
I have run my rustler without a pipe and WOW is it quick.

okay.. well i own both the CVEC and the MIP 360* stinger pipe... CVEC is nice because of the adjustments, but the stinger is truly the king, almost has to much bottom end. And, I did notice a HUGE top end difference when I had it on my sport with the pro .15... now my sport has an O.S. CV-X Hyper and the top end hasn't changed much due to the engines power... With the CVEC pipe on the O.S. CV-X Hyper, I noticed nothing.. running the CVEC on it would be just like running the stock plastic pipe... My CVEC is now resting with my pro .15

Well guys, "Ed the head" our track maintence dude got a cvce pipe today, and I have had a MIP 360 for a couple of months now, and we can see a little difference. His seems a bit sluggish on the line, but comes on strong in the mid. The 360 is balls to the wall from the start and carries the mid range very well. There is almost no difference in our two trucks on top end. I ran both trucks and I think I like the power of the 360 pipe better. But keep in mind that the very best hop up I have found is a well tuned set-up. I have a stock rustler that we havent started adding parts to yet, and I have been tweeking the tune up on it for a couple of days now , and it is very close to my race truck which has "EVERYTHING" but the case porting upgrade. So I say you should learn everything about how to tune your truck for optimum performance before you spend any money on parts. I think you will be suprised just how fast a trx pro15 really can be.

P.S.If you dont do a lot of high jumping or if you know how to get out of the throttle when you are in the air run your clutch full tight. Once you learn throttle control the truck will explode out of the corners and lift the front wheels any time you need to.I really like the extra control I have with no slip. Just my 2 cents, Tony

Yep!! I now totally agree with prostreetnova.
After serious fine tuning of the motor. My CEVC pipe and my Brothers 360 stinger are about the same!! There is a lot to learn about tuning!!!

Most definatly the cvec is the one. I have the MIP 360, but it has too much low end. also you can adjust the cvec.
