Hi Guys, I'm new to this forum. Bought a Slash 4x4 a couple of weeks ago, but I don't really like the typical short course bodies. So I got myself a Baja bug body (full fender model). Finished painting it today. I am very pleased with the result.

.......uhmmm....now I need to find out how to attach the picture to this post..... Below on my page it says "you may not post attachments". Can somebody maybe explain to me what to do? Thanks!

just found this thread and figured i would throw the my baja bug project on here.
RPM all the way around and 'pede wheels..used 3 big spacers on each shock to lift it.

I have added an FLM aluminum front skid plate , 32p gears, and Proline Protrac front arms. I'm wearing out these paddles and I'm gonna try some Sand Paws next.

Guess i'll add mine tothis awsome thread. Here is my slash, got it in a trade a few weeks back. It was stock with all kinds of garbage wrong and broken parts but the vxl3s combo + 2.4 was in fine shape so i got some good parts out of it. Now its running with trenchers, Mmp/3800 geared 15/54 running on 3s.

The wheels are plastic beadlocks from RC4WD. They don't sell the chrome version anymore, just black. The tires are Proline Mohawk fronts, Proline Sling Shot paddles.

I can't get enough of these cars and the paint jobs and tires and wheels! Really awesome work and neat setting the pics were taken in, cool stuff and nice builds from every body!!

Just finished painting my new Proline Baja Bug Body. It came out better than i thought, i haven't painted an R/C in 10 years. I did the racing stripes pretty darn well for free-hand taping. Took it on the street for a test spin, but the tires are new so that was a bad idea (Lipo 3S Battery , flipped it a couple times to break it in... before the darn photos LOL. Oh well, now the scratching part is done.

CAR - Slash 4x4

PAINT - Gun Metal Black for the main color, then Orange (lightly dusted orange first, then came back with black behind the orange to get a more rusty orange and not so bright).
