Very Nice !! The beadlocks look great with the matching color red. Looks clean, I would leave it just the way it is. Maybe do some black rubber around the windows for some detail, It will even better in the sand dunes.

Great looking Baja Bugs everyone. I've been running a couple Rustlers for a while, but when I saw the Baja Bug body, I had to get a Slash and put my own Baja Bug on the road!

I just got the new paint and decals to finish my second Baja Bug this coming weekend, so I will post new images soon!

I also just received Pro-Line Bowtie SC tires and Epic bead-locs too. I've been hearing great stuff about these tires and looking forward to getting them on my Slash after the new paint job.

I just have to remember to take pictures of the finished project before a run it down the street.

youve seen thee orange one before, here is my new baja. looks ok in the pics but up close i had a few paint bleeding issues. the tape didnt stick that well where it was old but being a proper bloke i couldnt wait for new masking tape and made do with what i had! also pics taken in the dark lol cause i couldnt wait! all with thee onboard flash.

no point in being too fussy, i live to bash, and i do bash hard!

I take photos of my cars before I run them to post images in their best condition. In both cases of the baja bugs I posted here... as soon as the photos were taken, I drove them around and flipped them both. I would bet that most photos posted are before taking them out and giving them a good bashing.

I like the white/blue body, crazee horse... I really like the decision to paint over the rear windows.

Don't feel bad, I didn't get comments on the photos I posted either. Not for my black/orange one or the newest red/black one with the Pro-Line wheels to match.

Crazee Horse, You say that alot of bugs on here are shelf queens because they have very nice paintjobs, well yours is the same way-very nice paint but will it just sit on the shelf? I dont think so. We all just take pics of them while there still new looking. Take mine for instance , a shelfqueen or a thrash&basher you decide here are 2 different perspectives for you to judge by.....Legend

The bolts and nuts come with the wing... but they aren't very good. I used alternative bolts and nuts to attach the wing on mine. The bolt strips out and the nuts are plastic and strip out if you don't get them on straight.

As for the wing, yeah, you can't NOT get that because it and the shell are together.

Yes you can take off the rear bumper and keep just the wheelie bar on.

I just wanted to say that this thread has inspired me! My Slash was not getting very much run time anymore but that will soon change. I have two Slashes that I am now (thanks to this thread) doing bug bodies on. One will be raced and the other will be more of a sand rail look like others have done. I did get one body today, I have it trimmed and it is ready for paint. I also picked up a set of wheels that will work with the theme along with some RPM goodies. I am still deciding on the second Slashes paint scheme but I have a general idea. You all have some very cool bugs and I hope to be able to add to the pics very soon!

Trying to mount on of these on the Slash now. I see few here that used the spoiler (???) And I am not sure if any one who used the spoiler used the small plastic pieces that came under the front wheel wells that attach to the side of the spoiler.

My question is how to attach those small plastic pieces to the spoiler. You can see where they go in the pic of the rear here: http://www.prolineracing.com/p-690-v...-slash174.aspx

Double sided black servo tape. Your local hobby shop should have some.

You can use some double sided foam tape but it will not hold up as well as the black servo tape.

Is there any place that sells these bodies already painted / cut? I've got negative skills in both areas, though I think the body looks awesome, there's no chance of me being able to make it look nice if I have to paint / cut it myself.
