I like yours very much. I saw it earlier and figured you would respond to this. There are quite a few baja style slash's out there and I figured it would be a great gathering tread to see what creativity comes from this. Hope to see more soon.

Does the wheel and tire on the rear throw things off at all? Do those lights stay on when rolled?

Tires and rims are just heavy. Just put a smaller pinion on to get the speed going. For the lights, I only drove 3 times so for with 1 roll over.

Good eye! What gave it a way. It is a converted Stampede.

Has Slash chassis, Slash Bellcranks, Slash Skid plates, Slash Rear Arm for the toe in, Xl-5 waterproof ESC.
Everything needed for it to be a Slash except,
the bumpers (which don't fit with the bug bodys to well)
body post(which I made custom ones to fit bug Body)

So I guess it is a Slash now.

I think he saw it from it's bumper, Stampede, Rustler, Bandit, etc have really horrible bumpers that protect nothing.

    But good job!

Supra Sales Ebay truggy tires.. 2 pre mounted for 17 bucks.. same size as revo.. unless you have seriously upgraded the drive line... dont bother trying to run them... you need carbon steel planetaries inside the diff. or a solid diff and preferable the FLM cvd or you'll go through tranny parts like its a fire sale...

Ive never painted a body myself as Im pretty new to this hobby. Just ordered myself a baja body and will paint it, probably the same colours as yours.
Could you perhaps give me a guide to how you painted yours? And what brand of colour/code, how to mask, in what order to paint the different colors, and so on.

All help is appreciated!! Dont wanna mess up my body doing it the wrong way..

Is it possible to remove the paint if something goes wrong?

Hey Markup! I would be happy to help!

the colors I used were Pactra florescent orange, Pactra Outlaw black metallic, and Pactra Grape pearl.

I started by masking the windows, and then paint the Orange on the nose and just get lighter with the paint as you get towards the middle of the body. 2 coats.

then I applied the grape pearl (just very lightly) over the back half of the body 1 coat

then I painted the outlaw black over the grape pearl.

really simple, I'm far from a good body painter...lol..

I painted the whole body after with a coat of white pactra florescent backer.

I hope that helps ya a little.

Those are the Proline Split Six beadlocks and Proline Slingshot paddles. Hooks up nice. I got a desert trip set up for next weekend. Gonna series two batteries and find an open spot to see how fast I can go in the sand.

Well my lights are gone after 3 runs. One roll over at half speed took 3 of them out. 2 on the top snapped off and 1 in front of the window snapped off.

They looked great, But I knew it would be a matter of time before they broke.

Why does everyone put the directional tires on backwards all the time..?? If the actually worked better that way, that'd be how they were supposed to me mounted.. LOL.. i just dont get it.. Great body, but the tires are on backwards... I see it on stampedes all the time too with talons...

happens with the stadium trucks alot with geolanders... i just dont see how hard it is to look at the direction arrows on the sidewall and follow the directions... a friend just gave me a used set of geolanders.. i have to boild them because i'll know in the back of my mind they are backwards.. that is, if i use them like they are mounted now... anyway.. rant over... and it is a nice body...
