1/16 Summit?? converting 1/16 e-revo???

I like the summit a lot and was wondering how it'll be 2 convert the mini e_revo to a mini summit! Get some taller tires, new body, locking diffs? lol itll be a cool little crawler too!

What do u guys think?

If I did something like that I would bypass the whole remote mini locking differential problem and just put some spools in (If Traxxas even will makes spools for the new mini Revos and Slashes).

you would need to gear it waay down though. like 10/72

yea huh just to fully lock the diffs... but then that wouldn't work to well at nigh speeds

yeh how many times you see the summit go over 25mph? haha
yeh youd have to get a lower turn motor

You would need to find even smaller servos to activate remote locking diffs and then create the rest of the mechanism to operate the diffs. You would need a 2 speed transmission with a crawler gear ratio for first also.

I think if you can change to the different rockers and raise the suspension, but on some Losi mini crawler tyres and put slighty heavier diff oil in each diff then you would have something a little more close to a mini Summit without going too crazy on the mods

It would be cool if they sold scaled down summit wheels/tire and body with the cage. But it wouldnt be a good idea imo to do all the locking stuff when everything would be so small. Just not enough beef in the parts to make them durable.

Ok this is not a 1/16 summit but might be worth the watch. The fun really starts at 55 seconds and than the summit tries to destroy the small truck.
