Onyx Charger or ? for Li-Po

I am Selling my sons Summit and buying him the New 1/16 Revo and want to use Li-Po batteries for the ultimate in power. I am currently using the Onyx 200 but was thinking of upgrading to the Onyx 240 for dual charge capability. I couldn't find anything thru search here on what most use so here's my post.
I do not really need 12v plug in as we are always home. But the Onyx 240 does not say Li-Po compatible? Any suggestions for a full featured good quality charger? Thanks

that is because it is not for LiPo use. It is a NiMh/ NiCd charger that can charge two batteries at once.

I use this and is very simple and easy to use.

Plus the price is not bad either
If it didn't break you can do it again.

I had looked at these but for alot more money possibly the multi-use capabilty would be convenient?
Heres an Onyx that has dual capability but no balancer

The onyx 230 does charge LiPo but you can only charge one battery at a time. Not a big deal I suppose. I have the Venom Pro charger and I hear its a rebranded chinese that cost 100 dollars more. It deffinetly has its perks as the balancer hook-up is external and I fried it once(totally my fault) and took it my LHS and got it replaced. If you got a cheaper chinese look-alike and cook the internal balancer the whole charger has to be sent back to where-ever it came from, IF you can get it fixed under warranty.

The best dual lipo chargers I've used is the Hyperion Duo and the FMA Cellpro 10s. The FMA is lipo only but does cost more than $100 LESS than the hyperion.

I have an Onyx 230 and a hyperion charger and the hyerion blows it out of the water. The onyx 230 is a pain in the butt to use. I have a 240 too and its very simple to use, but no lipo. I wish the 230 was as simple as the 240.

I have a Onyx 230 and I love it. If you don't, i'll take it off your hands. It sounds to me you have to many chargers anyway???

I like my onyx 230 it does a nice job... but here's another alternative for you

A buddy of mine got it for his heli and also so he'd be ready for lipos in the cars when he decides to.

To clarify some questions I've seen, the discussion of suggested chargers for the Revo it is fine. However, if this gravitates towards technical discussions of aftermarket charger specs, it will be locked.
