The arrival date is still May 14

I spoke to a Traxxas rep today who said the truck is still due out May 14th. When asked about the May 30th date, he said that this may be the time they end up making it to the stores.

There is no "effect" as nothing has changed.

If they expect your truck to be delivered to the POS on the 30th, then that's probably when you'll get it.

Call about pre-orders as I do not know. I think they are going to tell you that it depends on the supply of the company selling it to you. I ordered mine from Towerhobbies and will hopefully get it within the week that they receive the shipment from Traxxas.

The woman at Tower said that they receive shipments quickly from Traxxas. I have talked to people at my LHS and they have no idea when they are going to receive them. I am hoping that mine arrives either before or around the same time as their shipment.

My LHS got the summit in before Tower Hobbies. I'm hoping this goes the same! Just to be safe I ordered one from Tower as well.

I put $100 down on the first 1/16 E-Revo in at my LHS. I stopped by today to say hi and he pulled it up on the computer and it showed it arriving on 20 May.

I'm expecting closer to 1 June, but 20 May would rock.

Slasher has a bad habit of chasing down what he perceives to be imprecise grammar/spelling/reasoning on this forum and offering revisions. I won't presume to know his motive, but there's some bad faith here, since he rebuffed me for doing the very same thing!

RyanMavis has a bad habit of writing inappropriate messages and getting into trouble for being a rude person. A bummer for him.
Evidently there are some people that are missing my point by focusing on a typeo and not the content of my post. The quotations were not to target what I perceived as imprecision, but to indicate that there is no CAUSE for a different effect/affect (choose your word, I don't care).
It's amazing how some people can set out their day with a certain obvious mission. It seems their day would be incomplete without accomplishing even a small part of it. Sad.

What do you know! Exactly what I said in the "Date pushed back" thread.

This is no shock for me, but maybe they are still planning on sending them out on the 14th, so they assume they will be in stock at stores on the 30th.
