My first Traxxas rc car and my first paint job:

(I realized after taking the pictures that the wheels are on the wrong side. )







In the coming weeks I'll be installing a 3D camera, microphone and audio/video transmitter. I'm hoping to be able to live up to my user name.

Painted a new body for my merv.. Haven't finished cutting it out since I left my scissors at school (currently home from college), but you can still get the idea.






The 3rd picture shows where I messed up a little near the rear of the truck (the stripe is not very solid).. Still happy with how it turned out though.

The black was hand painted with a brush, then I airbrushed on a coat of transparent fluorescent green lightly, then a few coats of a fluorescent yellow mixed with iridescent, then 2 coats of the fluorescent green again, then backed it in white, the red stripe on the sides was added later to the outside red testors paint and a brush. Best part is when it starts getting dark the body seems to almost glow

I didn't have a temp gun today but an barefooted elderly man tried to cross his street to give a letter to his mail-man and is now in the hospital for severe burns to his feet, knee's & the palms. A Lady driving by saw him crawling and helped him off of the asphalt and called 911. (She should get more recognition then 5sec on the local news.
