Possible Mod for the Battery Box

Well I was perusing through the full size forum and came across this gem. Seeing as the mini and full size chassis are pretty much the same except for size. I figure this might be a viable option for those looking for run time and speed.

Looks like its doable. god we are crazy! we have another month until the car will be out and we're gonna have a list of 10 things to do haha.

for me...

1. daul 18th scale motor set up
2. dye chassis
3. Maybe this battary pack mod
4. custom roll cage
5. candy blue body and custom graphics
6. lipo set up. 4s maybe.

1. LiPo Setup (batteries and charger)
2. New Tires

Don't do that crap if you plan on racing.. heavy batteries and big jumps and being nimble don't mix. I use to run 8k lipo's in my erevo racing, until I raced w/ a 5k pack... I'll never go back, and yes it makes that much of a difference. Keep in mind the more battery weight, the more damage will occur as well. If you just run speed passes up and down a street then no worries.. hack away
