Is it easy to hear when the Jato shifts from first to second gear? I can't hear any noticeable change in the motor pitch as I accelerate.

yes it is quite noticeable when the jato shifts to 2nd gear
Ok, time for some gear adjustments then! Thanks!
adjust in 1/16th increments.... and be careful not to back the screw out to far....
been there bought that
Actually i think that it is rather difficult to hear the Jato shift. When i am doing a WOT run i can usually never hear it unless it is right next to me. However if you are going at half throttle or, so yes it is rather easy to hear.
2CH3NO2 + CH3OH + 3O2 → 3CO2 + 5H2O + N2 =Jato Fun
Should be prety easy to hear considdering a new load is being placed on the engine so suddenly when that hammer thingie comes out and hits the pin engaging the second gear.
R/C is expensive...
mine hits second at a force on the tranny... can hear it easily... check your slipper nut or else just lean it out...
If you don't like Nitro, you don't like anything!
yes you can hear itmine was set to lose and it started in second gear. so tightend it and now it does first gear again and strips the grass from the field
