you need to give us more than that about the batteries, and what kind of charger you would be using. And the best kind of break in for the motor is to use them and after a while it will be broken in.
is that a retail sign... OH CRAP!!

If you'd like a very rough estimate (which is all you're going to get due to the total and complete lack of background information! e.g. MAH rating, whether you're running in parallel or series, drive terrain and habits, etc.), if you're using the battery that's included, probably 10-20 minutes.

parallel is one circuit. I.E. one lightbulb goes out, and everything after that goes out.

series is more then one. I.E. one lightbulb can go out but everything after still works.

also, series takes less power then parallel.

    Parallel is with (2) 7.2 V 1000Mah batteries equals 7.2V at 2000 Mah
    Series is with (2) 7.2 V 1000Mah batteries equals 14.4V at 1000 Mah

That doesn't make any since. Odieser has it right. Sounds like there might be some noobs on here. A little research goes along way. Check out the E Revo FAQ section. Read it all, I believe its post 71 on page two that goes into great detail about the difference between parallel and series. There is also a wealth of other usful knowledge on there.
Jato 3.3 RPM arms all the way around, Hitec 645 steering servo, road hawg tires on RPM rims, chassis upgrade soon to come, too many parts replaced to mention. Got my eye on a Revo 3.3, hope to get one before too much longer.

    Everything you said is backwards.
The word "series" is a hint, too. Like a television series... One episodes after another in line. Or a series of dominoes lined up.

Parallel is like the first two L's in the word.. If one is broken, the other one is still an L. (to expand on your bulb analogy.)

i agree with slasher. because if one battery goes dead it would become an open circuit and if its in parallel one batt doesnt affect the other.
i bet my Quad could out RIP your Quad!!
