Yep! They are the same. Next time look at the exploded views.

I'm pretty sure you're right about the i-bar not being in the nitro diffs. I think the little u-shaper carriers between the spider gears and case aren't in the nitro version either.

Are you sure the diff outputs are the same length? I have a center diff for the 3.3 tranny and the distance from one end of the outputs to the other is a good 1/2 inch longer than the outputs on my erevo tranny.

The only differences between the nitro and electric Revo diffs are with the diff cups. The diff cups of the ERevo are different to accept the U shaped metal pieces. The I bar can be installed in both 3.3 Revo diff cups and ERevo diff cups. Everything else is the same, the output shafts are the same.

The exploded views can be a bit misleading as there are a couple discrepancies in them. Look at the different part numbers for the diff cups highlighted in green, they are different. Then look at the part numbers for the gears, they are the same numbers but they are different in the drawings. Also there's a spider gear missing in the ERevo diff drawing.

Revo (nitro) diffs will DROP in w/o any modification... with that said the e-revo diff's are designed better and will hold up better to brushless power... so if you have a choice stick w/ e-revo, summit diffs.. or even 3905 emaxx diff's and just change the housing as the insides are exactly the same.
