First off im sorry if i shouldnt be posting this here but i wanted to see if anyone else has had this happen to them.
Firstly i got into traxxas around 6 months ago and have been enjoying my bandit vxl since then.
My first (and last order) from maxamps was for a 9 volt battery and a hyperion charger costing around £250 pounds for the two (im from uk).
later november early december i received a letter from UPS courier services who maxamps use to send out the items stating that i still owe the shipping and handling fee. Of course i had already paid maxamps 60 or more dollars for this at the time of purchase.
The reciept that came with the goods didnt state the delivery fee and the only proof of this was on the website account page and the email that i had from maxamps.
The letter from UPS was quite threatening and said that legal proceedings may follow. I was angry quite rightly and emailed them the reciept to UPS showing the S+H that i had paid. I gave them my home, mobile and email numbers\address saying if they had any problems to contact me. I didnt hear anything from UPS. Two weeks later i had another letter stating the same thing.
By now my patience was wearing very thin so i emailed them again with the same info and also emailed maxamps explaining to them what had happened and if they could look into seeing if the shipment fee was passed on to them. I received nothing from UPS again or from maxamps.
Its now march and i havent heard anything from either of them since the end of december so im assuming that the problem has been dealt with and of course i have no apology from either party who obviously dont want to take any responsibility for the mistake. Besides the fact that customer service seems to be non exsistant these days and i have decided not to use maxamps or any company that uses UPS for their courier again, has anyone else experienced anything like this before from either maxamps or anywhere else?
