    moter help

    i need a new moter. what is a good brushed moter to put in for running in the water a mud and beat the tar out of.

    Any electric brushed motor is water proof. But it will shorten the life of them. So I would say get one that you can get brushes and parts for easily.

    this one is on massive backorder but it's the most recommended motor you'll find on this forum

    I have the one pogopunk posted but you have to keep that thing clean to keep it runnin right.

    For your conditions it might be worth tryin this thing out if you can get a pinion on it.

    well i got in sv2 15*2 with ball bearings and all it like new will that one work good.

    with that one you're psuhign the edge of your ESC... it's rated for 15 turn but the 17 will give you a better speed/torque ratio and STILL be faster than the stock one

    what a good 17 turn moter? cuz i dont the esc to burn up.

    I have a Trinity Speed Gems Amber 17 double mod motor. Real nice piece. Stay away from the Venom Fireball motor, I had one burn out on my Slash after one 20 minute bashing session. Don't forget to widen your gear ratio with your new motor.

    I've got this motor in 19T and it's still faster than the stocker...

    i believe it... i just think the 17 turn gievs a better speed torque ratio (but i'm a speed junky )

    well i got the sw2 in my slash wwith a 14t pinon 86 spur and so far so good untel mud gets in the in the brushes. how do u keep mod out of there does any know.

    the cheap was is to cover your motor in nylons (like the ones girls wear)

    the more expensive but better option is to get some of these

    oh sweet i will have to get me some og them well one for my summet that i goning pick up this weekend and one for the slash.i seen outerwhear shock covers at my hobboy storthat i go to but noune for the moters. thanks man
