I need a new steering servo and can get a great price on the Hitec HS 5645MG, its a digital bb one. This is just for reference-

My question is will it work with my stock radio?

REQUIRES: Futaba J Hitec, JR, or Airtronics-Z radio system

sorry i cant help you out, but that statement alone made me second guess it.
i run an airtronics servo it was night and day for the steering ability.
also have it plugged into a airtronics rx, not stock

The 5645MG is probably overkill for a truck like the Slash. I run that servo in my E-Maxx!

I'd stick with the 645MG, 625MG, or Futaba S3305 servos for these vehicles.
