    New wheelie bar/ bumper mount...

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Got this from RPM and it seems that it will do a better job than stock. It hasn't been tested yet.

It does not have the two arms that catch anything they can.

Mounting the top with the locknut might be annoying when getting to mesh adj., pinion or motor screws...we'll see.

The wheelie bar is also new and became a necessity as we will soon see photo's of the real "BEAST" about to be unleashed for the "Just the Beginning" \Backslash...

Hope this helps, i do not have the motor guard though.

I have 2 of them. I use them with the back bumpers. When we do wheelie's we just set it back on the bumper and let it scrape. I have noticed some deep scratches cut in the rpm piece, but I don;t ever have to stop to clean the grass out of the tab that comes loose under the skidplate anymore. the best less than $10 mod I could have purchased imo.

I believe Glbobo has it converted to a backslash thats the wing reason. Thanks for the pics that's what I wanted to see. How about a pic with a slash body. Im curious how far the body is from the new bumber depth wise.

I just think if I don't run the traxxas rear bumper and the RPM motor guard instead the body will get killed if someone rear ends me on the track.

The rpm thing allows you to use your rear bumper.. I have both of my trucks with the rear bumper in place.

I understand you can use the rear bumper with the "rear bumper mount" but you can not with the motor guard which is a small piece that connects to the bumper mount which is what im talking about.

the top picture. the black part can be used with the rear bumper.. I thought he was talking about this. Turns out he means the blue part witch cannot be used with the rear bumper. I was confused also.

The wing on mine is preventing a good picture but none the less you are correct. It's about 2.5" to 3" gap from body to bumper mount and would be body crunching. Especially the tail light zone.

i have it on my truck too, and looks like it will do a much better job than stock. the stock one was ALWAYS coming loose and i just said the heck with it and bought this. i actually found my bumper seems to be closer to the body than it was before, in fact, the bumper is now touching the body, but it is the proline hardcore body. if you plan to use BOTH the bumper mount and the motor guard, you will have to lose the bumper because the motor guard attaches to the same holes on the mount as the bumper. also, as earlier stated the gear cover is a bit more difficult to remove because of the locknut, and you cant use the cross wrench because the nut is so close to the tranny case. ill try to get some pics up.

EDIT: sorry, no pics because my computer is acting up

Awesome man! I want one, but I'm sorta waiting to decide if I want to race my Slash again in the Spec class on race days.

    Nice looking Slash too!
