Have you tried adjusting the throttle's trim setting so it's nudging reverse when the trigger is at neutral? Try this with the body off so you can monitor the speed control's temperature, as it will be working harder with the partial-throttle setting at neutral.

Egnix, thank you for the suggestion, but I really like how my summit is waterproof/resistant in it's stock form. But I'm out crawling around, I found me looking for a drag brake similar to my Axial trucks.
