you can get a 3pm for 160 on ebay sometimes, so the only people who will have it are the people who get an erevo ble

I don't think anyone has gotten a chance to use the Brushless E-Revo, so I doubt if anyone has used one.

I bet the price comes down a lot after the release. No one would buy that for $175 when they could get many more features for only a bit more money. Personally, I am hoping to pick one up on the Marketplace from someone who already has a nice radio to toss in their BL Revo.

isn't it far better & cost effective also to get the airtronics MX3 for $125
than paying around $165+ for traxxsas new radio or any other brand ?

There is one way that this radio may not be a bad deal, even at 175 bones. I have upgraded to a 3PM (LOVIN' IT!), but the RXs for it are $85 each, I have an E-Maxx, E'Pede, E'Rusty, E 4-Tec, AX10, and getting a Losi MRC (and likely will be getting a Losi 1/10 crawler), to outfit them all is over $500!!! But, if the RXs for the Traxxas 2.4hgz system are cheaper, then it would make it more cost effect to go with that.
Does anyone know what 2.4ghz systems the Traxxas 2.4ghz will be compatable with? I know the Losi RTR 2.4ghz RXs can be ran with Spektrum radios.

this drives me crazy why on earth would airtronics stop this fine product ???

sorry not to shift the thread, but it was one fine radio & with only $125
+ lcd + very uniqu antenna.

hope that traxxas will drop their radio to this range.

for the MX-3 did you use a coupon code because i looked on tower and its $149.99. its a nice 2.4 though.
the tactic 2.4 looks very old and simple. im not sure if i would trust it.

Its kinda like chevy belairs, if you look, you'll find some. Ebay, Craigslist, Flea market, The place down the street thats full of electonics that get raided now and than, pawn shops..........

they were showing it was discountnued..
better to wait for a while before ordering it... but if were you i would buy
it becouse you are living close to them and if you find it's a used one
it's easy for you to be refond.

I just picked up a slightly used MX-3FHSS for $87 + shipping on ebay. It looks brand new and came with the original box and manual.

one forsure. few hours ago it was limited in stock.
answering your q abouthe cahnnels, i think it's just 2 position switch.
this photo from it's manual might help you if i understand your point.

i'd jsut use it them my nephew came and liked it so i gave it him..
looking now get another or an M11 or DX3S.

1st, I've notice Tower will list an item to be released at the suggested retail price of the MFR. When the item get's released the price seems to change to our benefit (lower).

IMHO, there are plenty of 2.4 ghz radio systems that you can get at around the same price with much more features like holding more than one RC in it's memory... If you have more than one RC I highly recommend going that route instead of the TQ 2.4 system unless it is able to work with more than 1 RC....

i mean many will switch their plans to another product and simply
not to wait for the price to be dropped later.

myself, loyal to u.s Auto's so i convinced three of my brothers to switch
from Japanese ones to GMC & Cheve's.

i don't want myself one day forced to switch into another RC brand.

Airtronics MX-3FHSS has 18 model memory.
Futaba 3PM has 10 model memory.
