OK guys, I purchased the Spektrum DX3s radio system for my Slayer the other day and I am in the middle of attempting to install it on my truck. My question is, on the Traxxas reveiver that came with the truck, it had guides or channels for the servo plug end to fit into the receiver. The Spektrum receiver does not have these guides/channels. In order to use the servo plug, it seems I would have to trim the "tab" off the plug. Is this the correct way to do it? If I do trim the tab, is there a certain way the plug fits. Example, the steering servo only has two wires connected but there is three pins. Which way does it plug it. The throttle/brake servo has three wires and three pins. Now, I can only assume the if I use the old receiver as a guide, I would plug them in the same direction that they were in the Traxxas receiver. Am I close?
