    Aluminum hexes?

    I want to get rid of the plastic hexes.......what do i need? anything from a rustler or something?

    I am interested too.. From the pictures of them all 4 look the same size instead of the rears being smaller. It is at an angle so its hard to tell.

    does anybody know why or when traxxas stopped equipping them stock? i bought a stampede KIT back in 96 that had aluminum hexes stock.

    They stopped including them right around that time. My Grandfather bought a Stampede for my father as a Christmas gift around that time (96-97) and his kit came with plastic hexes.

    yea, me neither billstmaxx. Some kind of durability issue, I have a VXL in mine and I have no probs.

    You'd have to drill out the centers, they're just a hair small IIRC. I'm running the Traxxas hexes on my Pede and will be putting the Aluminum ones on my Bandit...and maybe E4T once that is rebuilt.

    Didn't realize that. I don't like the smooth, rounded edges on the first ones linked. I prefer a sharp corner to bite into the wheel. I use ACNC hex's on my Maxx.
