    My Villain Carrier/transporter

Got my boy a Villain for Christmas and have been thinking about building something to transport it with... So here ya go....

1 old and beat up wooden miter box, rounded the inner edge with a plane.
a touch of black spray paint
a foam towel (shamwow) glued and stapled.
Old duffel bag straps (they're even Trinity)
    1 small bungie cord

    Works great!

Nice looking carrier... looks like it does the job quite well! Good idea.

Thanks worked well, took the boat to the lake today and carrier was awesome.

I do have a few questions though, this was our first run with a Villain. It seemed to me to get quite a bit (at least more than expected) of water in the hull. Which in turn weighted the boat down hurting performance. I think the back lip where the top of the hull meets the bottom needs some silicone. Any tips on this? Again seemed to be more than expected.

Also, the boat has a water cooling kit on it, but I never saw water coming out the side of the exits while it was running, checking all the hoses and such they are tight. Thoughts?

The first thing I would do if you are getting excess water in the boat would be to add a layer of silicone sealant where the upper and lower hulls come together (under the lip that goes around the boat... sometimes the glue seal from the factory isn't perfect allowing some water to get in). Then, after that has cured, I'd do a float test in a bathtub to see if there is any water getting in around the steering rod boots and such. If that checks out, then you could probably add a bead of silicone to help seal the deck better. The Villain IV had a piece of tubing back there to help seal it. How you drive really factors into it as well. Spin outs and driving in reverse can lead to more water getting into the hull.

As for the water cooling... is there any trace of water in the tubing?

That looks really good. I just made a stand for mine about a week ago, made it out of pvc and it cost me less than $5.
