    2.8" vs 2.2s vs 1/8scale

    2.8 or 30series

    2.2s

    1/8 scale buggy 17mm hex


    what do you guys run and why??

    any advantages one over the other?

    i run them all... generally whatever i am doing justifies what i run...

    1/8 panther tires with 17mm adapter will give you a better handling both
    on/off road. that's no doubt.
    dounuts will be likely less here.
    so if you're looking for action ride go for the 2.2 RRII.. if better control
    is your 1st priority go with 1/8 panther, and lower the ground clearance
    by adjusting the shocks position as low as possible..

    ok cool. what do you rank 2.8s as then? .... bashing aswell?


    ultimately i would prefer if they made 1/8 panthers but as broad as 2.8s.

    so that height but 2" broad.

    I run 2.2s because there are alot more choices in wheels and rims that way. But I want to get the 30 series dirt hawgs because I had dirt hawgs before and they grip really good onroad and offroad but I run onroad.
    No more money for rc trucks I got 1:1 truck

    I have all 3 of them... 2.8"/30 serise is my choice!

    2.8 would be at second place. for bashing would help only with an off road tires.
