Fastest E-Revo... CHALLENGE!

I propose a challenge to all E-Revo owners. Whoever can get the highest top speed, GPS, or Radar/LiDar verified, on video, will receive a special virtual trophy and bragging rights for life. The challenge will begin now, and end on January 30th. If we can keep this thread going, the contest will continue until Jan. 30th, but is the thread dies, The contest will die too. This should get very interesting....

Also, you are welcome to post videos and speeds of previous events. I do professional wildlife photography, and graphic design for a living, so you should know that this virtual trophy will ROCK!

I'll start it off with 51.6 mph. 23/54 gearing. HPI Phatline tires. *****-H 3s 5000 lipo's in series. CC/MMM 2200 Combo.

The E-Revo with the CC/MMM 2200 Combo is much faster than 51.6 mph, it just a matter of keeping the front end from lifting at 50+ mph.

I also do professional wildlife photography, and I can attest to the correlation between good picture taking skills and the ability to make excellent virtual trophies. It will be a fine virtual trophy indeed.

It really looks faster when you are at that fast of a speed. A rustler doing 50 and an E-Revo doing 50 are two totally different things.

I used to think that the Erevo would be cake above 50compared to my Rustler,but you're right,they aren't.But they are still totally different animals to try to tame.

I would try to beat it myself, but up here in the NorthWest we got snow up at high as 8 inches.

I might be able to get up to 45 on ice, but I might not be able to stop...

I think I have a way to help stumlin out. Or any one else for that matter. Since it takes a while to get the E-Revo to top speed, get a buddy to drive you car, while you drive the Revo next to it, with the GPS on of course. This would give you the ability to keep it in sight and range and get verified GPS speed. This way, if your like stumblin in the video above, always running out of sight, you can get the extra distance that you need.

Oh, and by the way, 61.7 is really fast.

61.7 MPH. You hear that wind in the video? That wind could be some resistance. He might go faster on a more peaceful day.

I've never clocked my speed for my MMM combo system yet, I'll post when the sun decides to come out.

I haven't even ran them on a full pack of batteries.

On 8S it can be possible for the 70, may be 75 if the tires hold.
Had hard time finding tires that stayed glued on the rims with my nitro revo in the 65mph area. (max i got is 66mph full trim with rear wing on 30% nitro)

Even 70 would be VERY good! with the 8S it should be possible, what tires you will run guys?

It sluggish on the low end because i had a leak at the carb..had to run richer to compensate the small leak... fixed now

YEAH!!! Someone's gonna break 60 MPH pretty soon! I can;t do anything... we got a lot of snow here... Drove to a town called Langley. 16" of snow.

Man I tried driving my E-Revo in the snow... it just sunk in the snow because of it's heavy weight, and the all four tires just spun without going anywhere.

I got up to 57.2 mph.
