4-tec Clutch

Ok Im sure im one of the few thaat dosnt know how this works but I dont understand how the 2 speed works on the 4tec.the clutch bell has 2 gears on it that connect to 2 same moving gears. I dont understand how it works together

Cool if im seeing it right the first gear is locked into the tranny while the bigger spur "free spins" untill the clutch engages then it just takes over first gear
