    MMM combo motor wires

Has anyone shortened the wires on their motor. There was an insert in the box saying not to because the wires wouldn't re-solder properly, but I'm wondering if this is because a lot of people use irons that are too small. I contacted Castle about this a few days ago but haven't heard back yet...

i didnt hear that you couldnt shorten them, the motor wires that come on the e-revo BL are shorter, but i would double check with CC to make sure its safe to do so and what is required to solder them propery

    FYI,
I called and talked to Bernie at Castle and found out that the wires can be cut and soldered! What the note meant was on motors (not Castle) that the winding wires exit the can, they can be very difficult to solder due to the varnish coating.
The "Combo" motor has the 10G soft wire soldered inside the can and can be modified.
