    E-jato

Ok I really have the ambition to build an ejato but i can not afford it. I have thought about it for days and unfortunatly i cannot afford a old roller or a new transmition to put on my extra chassis seeing as i still want my nitro jato. However i have came up with an idea i would like someone to look into and let me kno how it works. I saw different ways for mounting the motor including using half of a E-maxx motor mount. The Emaxx is a dual titan motor machine. I have extended the persons idea of using a half of a emaxx mount to using the full one ( http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXXF55&P=7 ) and putting a dual motor system in a e-jato. The person used the center mount to mount the bracket to the tranny and then the motor mount to mount the motor like you would on a emaxx. My idea is the same just adding two motors. ( you may need to have a bigger spur gear) Or you may have to modify the bracket a little with new holes to mount it to the smaller jato tranny. Please someone consider and give feedback.

The e-jato isn't hard to make. But I would see no point on putting 2 electric motor on there. The second is just for extra low end. I don't think you need that because you can strip the gears easyer. I don't think that there is enoughf room to do that. I used a old RC10B2 mount and cut off the grill on it and made the hole bigger where the spur gear goes. And also the other hole where the pinion goes. Then drill 2 holes to mount it. Here is my thred, there are pics on there.

IDK, you say you can't afford a roller and then your going to need electronics...
I personally would just pick up a Rustler VLX.
