    We like em DIRTY!

We had a little race today, well my butt got smoked. Max speeds I'm pull is 38 tops on my Twin VXL now. I think I need new tireds for dirt. I'm still driving on my stock tires from back 5-6 months ago when i first got my E-Revo. The treads are as smooth as a baby's toosh.

I believe... YES this is the most dirty R/C truck after the day was over.

See that E-Revo stuck under the fence? yeah that's mine >_> I was drag racing Seattle Slew and lost sight of it in the fog. 35 MPH into the fence, I had to get his help to pry the fence up. and she's still running!

Well, the sky doesn't look too happy for the next few weeks. I don't think I'll be driving my E-Revo until 2009. Good news is, by then my 2nd E-Revo will be able to unleash H.E. double hockey sticks on the track by then.

As for my Twin VXL... I can drive it off a cliff for all I care. I upgraded it to be abused, and abuse it I shall.

I have a set of proline tires for street, and track tires. I'm just waiting until these stock ones blow.

Then I'm gonna removed the foam and cut the rubber.... drive on bare rims

    It's Seattle Slew's E-Revo.

Mine is a Twin VXl on stock gearing, 2 X 3s LiPo packs.
Seattle Slew's I believe is a Novak 5.5 with 7 cell Nimhs, geared at 12/64.

My E-Revo was only busting about 30 MPH on my first pair of batteries. After my 1st pair went out, my 2nd pair was installed, and it busted 38 MPH. I use to clock 45 MPH in summer time, but the speed seems to have dropped now. No idea why, might be cold weather, or worn LiPo batteries.

Fact is, she's not as fast as she use to be. When the time comes, she will retire. I'll hang up my Twin VXL E-Revo on my wall (if she doesn't fall off from being over weight), and bring forth a new challenger.

An E-Revo setup that everyone knows as "Land Missile."

It was fun, The Novak 5.5 Geared down to 12/65 had the torque under load to win coming around the final turn.(2 of 3 times) I was surprised it also had the top speed, although that was only 35mph ? if i remember right.

I was excited my RED Slash set 38.8 MPH - but at that speed it was out of control.

Best part of Today was no signicant damage to any of the eight Traxxas Trucks we had out there.

I'm a bit surprised a slash can even run that fast. They always seems a bit too hefty IMO. hmmm, guess I was wrong.
