^^ I've often broken his Flux, E-Maxx and Stampede, so... deuce !

    RPM bumper mounts ! :

The nylon of these RPM mounts is harder than the stock ones of course but I hope they won't break too easily. We'll see

    New lipo packs !

As the ******* 2S 20C 5000mAh packs aren't really powerful I wanted to test new packs. I've chosen the ProTek 2S 50C 5600mAh packs (link).

    Perfect fit ! :

With my previous mod for the ******* packs I just needed to dremel the spot below not to damage the connectors :

    My ERBE currently :

Quick review of the packs soon

    New vid !!

My first session in a skate park with my BL E-Revo ! : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=toV-xtvfT6Y (I hope the quality will be soon better...).

    Breakages :

FullForceRC carbon pushrods are junk... I broke two of them today, the carbon holds out but not the alu threaded part. So I keep the Traxxas optional pushrods ! One of my pivot ball pops out the axle carrier, I decided to reinstall the stock ones with alu rings (they weren't released when I had installed the RPM ones). You can notice the RPM bearings suffered a bit

^^ this was the reason of a clicking sound I had since several sessions. It's the yoke of my front center driveshaft.

The ERBE is really sturdy on concrete, skids suffer but no worries !
My ProTek packs are great, long runtime (30-40 minutes), nice temps, no balancing problem, and they seem reliable, we will see if they are durable

Can't wait my vacations next week

The ProTek packs look promising for sure and according to their specs they should have a good bit of power. My skate park experience was not near as good as yours! haha

Tust me, you're gonna love them. I however went with the fixed wiring style. Not yet a big fan of the removeable leads....

    Cool

I like the removeable wires idea : the packs are easy to carry (you can't damage the wires when your packs are battered in your backpack and you can superimpose the packs in a small box for example), and no balancing wires exposed !

But sure, on the long run the built-in female bullet connectors will wear out...

    Daniel.

Kinda narrow yep ! (I hit this steel bar several times in fact ).

These bearings are RPM bearings, they aren't really sturdy... I use Acer Racing bearings with the RPM axle carriers of my maxx and no problem up to now
I can't say if these ceramic bearings worth the money because I didn't use them enough at the moment. We'll see the result after more bashing sessions !

Plan is to get the Slash sold. The Slash is an awesome truck, and a pain at the same time. Awesome, because it is a blast to drive and very tough, and a pain because your destracted from the MT addiction

Something I thought about, which you may also have considered.........

The cross members on the roll cage looked slightly odd to me being bright silver. I wondered if Axial made some links or rods in the correct length. Ano Red or Blue, or green for the Grave Digger fans. Grey if your boring

    Thoughts?

Hum the grey color of the rollcage braces isn't really odd in fact, above all when the body is installed I'm sure Axial have the appropriate posts I need to measure the brace size but because of my job I'm not at home currently. I will let you know Friday before my departure !

As promised Tom I measured the size of the rollcage braces : ~6.1cm (~0.3937"). So these Axial posts will fit with one or two 1mm spacers : http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXWDN9&P=7. Aesthetic problem solved !

    And now..... VACATIONS !!!

    HPP motor bracket

This jump was stupid but it was so tantalizing

I could't make this type of jumps without the HPP motor bracket, and the last version is now available ! I installed it yesterday it's a work of art. Ingenious design, perfect fit, high quality components and beautiful black anodizing

I love the mount and i'm wondering why traxxas didnt made them!
I'm looking to buy it but it seems its can only be purchases directly from the company it selft. Its about 55$ CAN without shipping man its expensive for what it is... do anyone got that from any other store??

This bracket is an original idea of the HPP Germany owner so of course only him sells it ! Sure it's expensive but production costs are high in Europe (he tried Chinese manufacturers but the result wasn't great...). Personally I don't regret the investment !

Lets face it, 40 is well worth it when you consider the amount of time and effort, and down time waiting for and then replacing a motor plate! And you've got the added security when your jumping.
