thats pretty common just get some rpm ones they are less than 10 bucks
Or the aluminum Traxxas upgrade ones. They come in blue or red (to match your stock body) and are sweet.

I broke the rear Bearing Carriers in my slash and made the mystake of re-buying the stock ones broke bolth the one in that package..Bought the RPMs and have been fine for a while..
I would just buy the RPMs instead of buying the aluminum ones you save close to 15 bucks..

Thanks, Kevin.
I have broke 2 of the rear carriers and 1 front carrier. lol I still need to get 2 new rear carriers.
Rustler VXL, all FLM and RPM!
i have blue rpm arms front and back and i have hit the curbs pretty hard knowing that this is going to hurt but the truck took it and kept on going thumbs up 3 times for RPM
Speed is not expensive but it can be costly
Never actually broken a carrier myself, but I can attest to the durability of RPM's carriers. The set on my Stampede has been there since the latter part of 1999!

i have only broke 1 in like 3 years lol
BUT NICE JOB WooHoo![]()
I started JATO all others are IMITATORS!
I honestly think that the stock carriers are just about ast strong as the rpm ones. Its cool that they have a life time warranty but I keep breaking them and sending them back and getting new ones then breaking them again. Ive probably spent more money in stamps then anything else. I usually put the stock ones back on while i'm waiting for the replacement to come in the mail![]()

Wow that is the first time I have heard of something breaking an RPM part...
Agree with slowenufs sig wheres the new 4 tec?
I have broke 6 of the rear carriers. All other 5 of them I have broke have been like 1slash's right after the camber link.
RPM parts are definitely not indestructible. I have broken one of their bumpers on my Stampede.Originally Posted by jatodood

Ive only broken a few rpm parts in my day..A E-Maxx a-arm..C-block on my old russy Vxl and some how a cracked a skid on my E-Maxx all replaced no hard feelings to rpm becasue i bash my trucks hard and i know i would be bending alum. on all the same breaks.
Edit:
If i break more than two sets the Traxxas Alum carriers will be purchased...

I have found that with the Alum carriers you no longer have to worry about breaking them and they are very hard to bend but you will then end up replacing bent camber link, link end and are sure to bend up stub shafts and when those bend inside and aluminum carrier they are a pain to get out.Originally Posted by traxxas basher
For me I have found that the stock seem to hold up just as good as the RPM's I have two sets of RPM's and I usually wait till two or more of their carriers break before sending them back to save on stamps. Even though they break its nice to get new ones for freeOriginally Posted by SirRoxen

This part (rear carrier) has given me some trouble, I went through 3 stock ones before buying a set of rpms, and I broke one of the rpms the very next day,
So far the rpms seem to be holding up better than the stock ones at least, I had the stock ones break twice when I rolled it at a slow speed in the grass, ugh.
