    Who here is cutting the switch off their MMM

    The reason I ask this is because my MMM performs flawlessly until I got it on the track this past weekend and after every jump that I landed the switch would just cut off ,. This was a major problem so I just cut it. Also this doesn't cause any kind of warranty problems does it?

    Yell id have to say most warrantys are like traxxas. If you modify the esc witch cutting the switch off is, You just void the warranty. Kudos to you my friend.

    patrick, the president of castle said you can cut and hotwire the switch without voiding your warranty.

    The only thing that voids the warranty i soldering/modifying something on the main board.

    some people have replaced the switch with a better one. radioshack sells them pretty cheap;

    To back that up I cut the switch on my MM and had to send it and the 5700 in for warranty work. It turns out nothing was wrong with the motor or ESC but rather the motor wires. There was no warranty issue they put a new switch on it that has worked great since I got it back a few months ago.

    My V1 MMM wires were cut when they became trapped between the spur and pinion gears. It has worked flawlessly since.

    I replaced the switch my Mamba Max, Castle recommends you use a "high-quality" switch. But yes, changing the switch doesn't void your warranty.
    To write with a broken pencil is pointless.
