has traxxas corrected the evx-2 or will it still fry on 7-cells like the e-maxx did. Will it be as fast as a standard e-revo/e-maxx on 7-cells with the high gearing and the single larger motor?

probaly not it will probally be a little bit faster than the electric 4-tech and more powerful than a emaxx
is that a retail sign... OH CRAP!!
All we have is speculation, but the word is that top speeds will be the same if not so close that it is not even a noteable difference. I knew revisions to the EVX-2 have been made, but I am not sure if it has been totaly fixed.
An injured friend is the bitterest of foes
i just got my evx2 a month ago and i've been running gp3300 7 cells w/ a 700HO for like 10 runs now and my temps are great across the board, not 1 issue(knock on wood)
3 Mutts R/C
My EVX2 has stood up to 7 cell packs, just can't get the 7 cell packs to reciprocate![]()
it will go around 20mph
