I JUST got in from a day of bashing and the v3 worked flawless. truck is sick. i cant keep the front end down on 4s. i cant imagine what its gonna do on 6s. GREAT JOB CASTLE THANKS.

Lets hope they have it right this time. Their Quality Control department has really let alot of people down in the past with this MONSTER screw up.

You'll be able to do standing forward and backward flips

punch control in the mmm settings....turn it up a bit....a good setting for me was around 70%

But I have the extended rear arms, so you may need a bit more.

Get a wheelie bar and put the wheels so they are touching the ground haha.

Incorrect.

It has nothing to do with quality control, it has everything to do with being a new product with some design issues that needed addressing.

I like the fact that its brushless but what i dont like is how low the ground clearance is. i was also wondering if the suspension is ajustable because if thats all the ground clearance it has, then its not a true truck.

Are you serious?

The (E)Revo platform is about as ajustable as it gets. Ground clearance is set the way it is from the factory with the thought of it being a "race" monster truck. Check this thread out for one that has been adjusted to the max and you'll see what I am talking about.

4s huh? I was planning on going 6s because of all the hype, but I may have to change my plans. If two quality 2s packs will make it wheely on demand, that's all the power I'll need. I WANT the nose to stay down.... Looks like I'll need a wheely bar then... LOL

My plans are to upgrade the stock e-revo with a MMM v3 with the 2200 motor offered from Castle Creations for my son's Christmas gift.

A few folks on this forum tried a 5s (3S and 2S in series with the same mAH). Sounds safe from pushing the 6s limit and may try against some bad reasons for trying a 5s.

Also for those few videos posted, it seems like there is a lot less control with respect to wheelies (probably because the less weight of the missing forward titan motor and extra weight of the rear brushless motor)/

Hoove mentioned controlling the punch to 70% or greater.

Any others made adjustments for better truck control?

4S is plenty on this truck for sure, but.. most of this hobby is geared for the faster setup.. so I say get a couple 3s packs and go for it!
Stegra.. did you turn the timing down to lowest? that'll take some grunt out of it.

why run 5s? its not as efficient! run 6s and gear it down! your setup will run cooler pull less amps and you will have a bigger

on your face

Not neccesserly. Without knowing the specific efficiency band (in rpms and volts) of all the motors that are suitable, there is no way of knowing if the MMM motor is better on 4,5 or 6s lipo.

That said, I would prefer to run 6s and gear down more, as it allows you to gear up for when you want more insane speed. 5s however would be a nice mix of good temps and nutty speed without messing with the gearing too much- fewer pinions and spurs to buy

yeah thats true, if your not in to messing with the gearing alot.
they should make a 5 speed autostick for the erevo! lol!

I have CC response from this exact ? Of how many cells.It was the general consensus that 4s will probably be the best.The efficiency should not really be an issue on 4 or 6. Here's the thread. http://www.rc-monster.com/forum/showthread.php?t=16068 For me with this kv of motor I'll save the 6s for speed runs only.
