Made it, big block, boat pipe, trinity header cut, rods for front shocks, still needs some tweaking though, front end is too low, rear end is too high, need to fool with gearing, wanted to put a 20t bell on it but the motor wont fit....

Beside it being Nitro? Its slow because the front skid is grinding on the ground and the front wheels are rubbing on the body. IMHBCO

wow some people just dont get it... But Ive actually flipped it and the pipe stuck in the ground and shut the motor off, didnt hurt anything. Its a drag only truck, asphault. And I have no traction problems.

Yall are on the same wagon, so as soon as you see something out of your clicke you gotta tear it apart... front skid is not dragging and wheels dont hit body.

Oh my..that looks so weird but i bet it will be fairly quick down the strip with the right setup. How well does it work out? I know your asking why its slow, but then again thats a joke right? I feel like a complete tard.

Anyway, a video of a drag run would be cool to see indeed.

Relax.. I forgot you are using it for drag racing. For drag racing it actually looks pretty cool. How do the stock tires work for that?

thats cool, you know they changed the setup this time? no more classes by truck type, you race for your times, say you qualify and run a 2.7, you can run in the 2.7 or 2.5 class, u run that without going under the time...

was close to gettin a vid but kept breakin stuff before i got it tuned in. Rolled over and slammed on the motor, knockin the mesh out and spent the spur gear, then it came up again after I fixed that and ripped my exhaust coupler apart. Didnt have any spares and the hobby shop was closed

I cant wait to see it run Chuck... Looks obnoxiously loud lol

These guys need to stop making fun of this truck. You said you ran a 2.7... that's faster than the Jatos (they are running 2.8-3.0sec).

I've also been trying to get my hands on the old MIP 360 stinger pipe. To rig on my Rustler. Some people say the boat pipe setup is better than any traditional exhaust (like my buku).

BTW, paulywalnuts.. you should really post up your Jaco foams mod. I think a lot of guys could benefit from it. It's trully awesome. You beat a $400 grp revo with a picco 26 maxx... That dude has no idea what he's doing, he's definately all talk.

Well anyway, cant wait to see you guys at the races this weekend. I think im going to sandbag people. I know it's going to happen.

and I ran a 2.70, then a 2.78 the 2 times I ran it, should be faster now, that was with the trinity and that held back the r's also, the way this thing sits it shoots pretty straight, I may raise it up a tiny bit, but not much.

the biggest problem i got is tryin to tune without the traction aid they spray the track with,me and chuck were messin around last night and i couldn't keep it straight while opening up the throttle,it is all driver now, last night was the first time i put the screwdriver to it since i got it. it was running 145,i could only get it to 204 and still couldn't keep it straight

Yeah.. Foams are really surface temperature dependent. I have the Jacos for my Rustler and Jato. But they only really hook up when the ground temperature is 80-90F.

I think i might just keep my engine constantly running at the track. I can only get my 3.3 up to 230F at most. It usually runs 250-260F at peak performance.

I really didnt see the hype in the GRP when i saw Bo run his revo. It seemed rich though. I saw a lot of out-of-tune cars at the track.

i can tell you this, without the wheelie bar it loops itself and there is no stopping it by letting off, it comes up so quick. if you can keep it down then ur ok till you hit second then it tries to flip again. its nut that i cant get it over 200 degrees and it runs like that. it was a handfull at factory settings for breakin. i may end up switching back to some rubber tires if i cant get the jaco's to hook.

Yea, me and my buddy were having a lot of trouble breaking in his Mugen Ninja 21 (pretty much a Vspec). The factory settings were ridiculously rich and we couldnt get it to fire up and stay on... Eventually we got to heat cycle it.

Have you tried adjusting the slipper clutch? Gearing? shift point (make it earlier or just lock it in 2nd gear)?

There are definitely a lot of adjustments that can get rid of the wheel spin. You're definitely better off with the stock tires... I have slash tires on my rustler and they hook up better than the jacos right now.

See you guys at the races sunday, good luck.
