    T-Lock on the fly

I have seen many comments stating potential diff damage by engaging T-Lock on the go!, I really cant see it being a problem as long as one of the wheels isn't unloading (One side spinning much faster than the other). but if you are driving in a straight line (or close enough to it) I think these T-Locks will be tougher than people give them credit, I have never owned an two speed E-maxx but I am sure the gear change on the fly in that gearbox is under a lot more stress, Did anyone have problems with these (Excluding high power B/L setups) ?????

Just something else to talk about until the release one of the most exiting cars to date IMO!!

i agree with you. i dont think anyones actually going to run into many problems with the T-locks unless they are purposely being reckless or trying to mess something up. improper shifting (with the gears or the T-locks) will obviously throw something out of line.

well, if it does fail at first, Im sure it will be like the VXL3s. Trial and error till it gets fixed. They have never let me down, so Im sure they will fix all bugs asap.

Imagine shifting from first 70:1 to second 25:1 in the summit I think this will be a stressful change a big "Drill Motor" all of a sudden spinning the drivetrain nearly three times as fast!!

Yeah exactly if you are going full noise (or no noise in this case) around a corner you are not going to be thinking T-Lock unless as you said they are purposely being reckless, who knows if it means the car would do barrel roll on the ground I might give it a shot

I have the old 2 speed E-Maxx and I have never had any problems with the shifting on the fly from low to high and back to low

    on a side note
well it took them quite awhile to realize the problem with the VXL 3s.

Maybe ... I have seen a VXL-3s with a short piece of wire between the ESC and the bullet connectors.
When I called TraxxasUK they did not have that version at that time

But I got a new ESC in just a few days time

Don't forget there is a slipper between that 775 motor and the transmission.
