    Slash - all the way..

You might be able to convert a e-revo... guess we will see what people come up with.

i would go slash cause it has more hop ups, and cheaper and more off road because it does not have a straight axel (the slash has indepent suspension)

Its not going to be $750, tower always lists new products really high up when they first are shown to the public. It will probably be around $500. But you cant compare a slash with the summit or e-revo. The E-revo is better at everything, Ive had both so I know. But the e-revo should be better, its 2.5 times as much money and takes twice the batteries.

May want to go look at the pics, this doesnt have solid axles either. its based on the revo design. The e-revo suspension is significantly more adjustable and much better that on the slash.

ummmmmmmmmmmm where are you getting this info there are many hop ups for the e-revo and alot of the parts are off that there are a whole slew of upgrades for it

it is not more off road in any way this is the ultimate off road it does not have a straight axle it had independant suspension

please next time get your facts right
if you can control it, it is too slow

sorry about the straight axle thing but i not talkin about the erevo this is the ~summit~ and the summit is not exactly the erevo cause it is set up for more ground clearence so different things like the a arms could be different lenghts if you get the slash you would have more hop up choices than the summit because the summit is newer and hop up companies dont know what is commin out or when

Considering the Summit is basically a modified e-revo I would assume most hop ups would fit.

i am pretty sure it is just different length push rods for the and maybe different rockers but pretty much it is the same a lot of the ground clearance comes from the massive wheels on it (6")
if you can control it, it is too slow

Basically a tall e-revo, except it also has remotely locking front and rear diffs, the newest Titan in the series, headlights and taillights, a roll cage, bigger tires, has a manually shifting 2 speed tranny, and it can fly!

Slash is fun if you have a track to run it at. THe Summit is a truck you can run anywhere. Regardless...we're comparing apples to oranges. They are not intended for the same type of use.

Get your feet wet with the Slash and save up for the Summit. That way you will eventually have both!

How are we supposed to know if your brother can help you with your car? The summit/erevo is definatly more complicated than a slash or ruster. However, if you take your time and use your manual if you get stuck while taking things apart or putting them back together you will be fine as long as you have normal mechanical sense.

    My dilema to.

its just cause the summit is not a beginner car
    Says who?
I agree with both, a little bit. I started out on the old 3.3 revo and some say its not a beginners car either, but if you're willing to spend some time driving and more time wrenching, you can start with just about anything your budget will let you.

Slash is super tough all around Truck with looks and speed. Best if your racing/bashing on dirt and streets. Summit would be better if you are in the Woods of Canada.

But Slash is out now, Summit is months away.

I'm going to wait untill the Summit comes out and test drive it first. Then I will compare. I don't know about anyone else out there, but I can't just decide on watching a video or reading input from people who also never drove the truck. The second thing is, what you plan on doing with the truck. You are going to have a purpose in your mind. The pros and cons of the test drives in relation to the purpose should help you make up your mind. If not, go by my old creed "Ask the wife for the budget and go from there"
