Thats right, as soon as I get the summit, im putting a casle creationis mmm and 2200kv brushless motor combo!!
Can you imagine!!!!!
So this is your rock crawler...
Yep, its also does 50 MPH!

Race-bred SSC 4x4
Durango DEX410
I'll be next, but keep in mind we may want to shoot for 35mph. With 7" tires it might be a bit unstable at 50.
that would amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Talk about ballooning tires! Holy cow! That will be insane.
Lots of brushless power in the garage.
Err... tire blow out more like....Originally Posted by jlanders001

when you hit the full throtle don´t forget to unlock the diff´s or you will have many broken plastics coming out the truck!!!
You dont really need to hit full throtle..Originally Posted by timaneli

Exactly what i am thinking - a Brushless Summit should jump thru the woods like a deer and run down a Slash like a Grizzle Bear after a rabbit.
Could be the Ultimate RC truck with the proper set up.
EREVOs, Slashes, 1/16 Slash, EMAXX, VXL Villain
I wouldn't want a sensorless brushless system like the MMM/2200 in a crawler. When crawling you want to be able to control the amount of torque as carefully as you can. Even as smooth as the MMM can be with a brushless motor it's still no match for a good brushed motor.
MMM/2200 powered E-Revo - sufficiently excessive
Don't sensorless motors also experience cogging at low speeds?
Yes, which is the primary reason you won't see one in a real crawler.
MMM/2200 powered E-Revo - sufficiently excessive
So realistically, what - if any - issues may arise from a brushless system in this truck, say with a low KV motor .... under 2K?
My "pros & cons" lists for the BL E revo and the Summit are more heavily weighted in favor of the Summit but then again... the Castle combo in the E Revo counts for like 5 or 6 pros![]()
So Summit / brushless issues:
*Cogging at crawling speeds noted (and tolerable)
*Durability of locking diffs at higher RPM?
*Glitching with the TQ4...?
*....
*...
only one diff can be unlocked front or rearOriginally Posted by timaneli

The motor will spin with out cogging at the slowest possible speed.
The only reason motors cog is when they dont have enought power to take care of the load put on them....
Also the motor is going to be spinning at a good speed when your in rock crawling mode... remember "70:1 first gear ratio for climbing torque"

If the titan 775 can do the job, what makes you think a high power brushless motor will fail?

well you never know but we will find out huh? also is a brushless motor water proof
huked awn fonics werkeded 4 mee
sensored brushless motors do not cog, only sensorless ones do
