ya $500 sounds about right for it being priced a little more than an E Revo

Tower Hobbies first posts the MSRP on their site. Using the proportion of the First E-Revo: MSRP-$800. T.H. sale price-$450, this means the Summit would cost about $420 (Tower Hobbies Sale Price).

A friend talked to traxxas. MSRP is $800, but will probably retail for closer to $500.

I was at the show today and this is what they told me too. They said the Brushless e-revo should be about $650.

Oh yeah the mini e revo and mini slayer look freakin awesome. What is there, is a straight up prototype.

I'm talkin, they were molded out of clay!! they look so incredibly cool i was blown away.

Great job traxxas, cant wait to hold one

As one of the employees said, it's too early to estimate the street price. However, they did say to "[e]xpect prices to be a bit higher than the current E-Revo RTR."

Was at my lhs today, Hobbytown, they told me about $569. Should be sometime in December. I never mind paying a little bit more with them , because when I got my Revo 3.3 from them last year, they worked on it for just the cost of the parts to repair or a few bucks for labor when ever the car broke. I am still fairly new to the hobby, so I can use all the help I can get.

I think it will hover around the $500 mark. I mean, when the new T-maxx 3.3 came out with all the new upgrades, it actually sold for a lower price than is predecessor.
