Not very fast.
I'd guess 25, tops. But me thinks if you want a speed demon, this isn't the right truck any way.

I doubt this truck will have much speed. It's more designed for torque and crawling rather than speed and wheelies.

Not too sure about that. With that monster motor and the gear ratios there, on the terrain it is designed for, it will be quite fast.

Very,very slow. Its a rock crawler and its built for power.
I like that body and the design is cool also, but I'm still getting a BL-Revo.

it has two speeds.(you switch them by ther thumb switch.)

I am pumped for this truck. I just need to figure out what to sell to free up some cash. Possibly my near new used twice E-revo. I have the terrain more for this truck. With no tracks around me, the E-revo really is only a go up and down the street truck.

FYI - Two 775 will not work in the e-maxx.

With two 7 cell packs it's ALOT faster than you guys could imagine

The 775 is basicall the same as the kershaw 700motors so two would work in the emaxx or erevo fine you would just need pinions a motor mount and some good batteries. And an esc fan.

It's not going to go faster than 25 unless you use lipo.There is a video on rccaraction with a traxxas guy explaining everything and he said 25 mph.

I hope not ever see one of these Summits with or without a BL running at > 15 mph. I worry about most in knowing angles of attack, roll, the highest rise, autonomy, adherence, protections, ground clearance?.
Definitely going to be my next Rc when to replace my old 3906 emaxx 'mountains'.

25mph with those tires and that ride height is going to be plenty of 'fun'! It will be really easy to flip I'll bet.

But I agree, speed is not what this truck is about at all. That's all the other Revo's. And its true, if you have no track nearby to race on (or the time for organized racing) or a real good place to bash, a regular Revo gets pretty boring. I had a Revo 2.5 modified for racing. When it was not racing, it was not much fun. Driving in grass stinks. Driving up and down the street gets old fast. I think with this truck the fun is going to be: "Hey, let's see if it will drive over (under, through, etc) that!"

The Traxxas video shows the truck running in high gear for just a second. Looks fast enough to be fun and fast enough to get air over a jump....but not wildly fast like any of the other Revos.

What is the E-revo ratio? 25:1 is not low, like someone said. My guess is that with dual 7-cells 30 (or close to it) is not unreal.

i have dual kershaw 700HO's on my emaxx and the exv2 handels 16.8v w/ no problems at all.

the 775 titan looks like the same size as a kershw 700HO. i'm glad to see that traxxas is exploring the brushed possibilities. my maxx is as quick as a bl setup.

I couldn't agree more! That's the problem I'm having with the E-revo. Love the truck, but there is not track within an hour of me. Driving up and down the street is real old and on the grass can be fun if I chase my dog, but eventually it gets old. LOL
