    MMMv2 Case Coming Apart

Was out bashing today... 3 times the ESC case came unsnapped from the base on hard landings/tumbling. Each time I snapped it back together. The base itself stay attached to the Erevo... it was the top part of the ESC that came unsnapped from the bottom plate. My thought is that because of the mutiple times I have taken the case apart the snaps no longer function properly. Any ideas on how to keep the case from coming unsnapped? My first thought at the field was too add few drops of super glue... but then I would have to break it to take it apart. I can't see why I would want to take it apart agan as I have done all the mods to it and am basically done. Ideas ????

I think origionally, the idea behind wrapping the bottom with the sticker was to hold it together. maybe use a sticker to wrap the side around the bottom?
    be nice.

i would use a sticker/tape or zip tie to fix it instead of the glue. that stuff can do alot of damage ot certain plastics.

That thought had crossed my mind also! However using the sticker would necessitate removing the base from the chassis, and that ain't about to happen as whatever tape I used is sticking firmly! I would have to pry it off with a screw driver... not something I want to do.

The battery is a real tight fit (height wise). I placed a zip tie on top of the battery and it still fits... so the zip tie it will be.

Again.. .Thanks again for all your thoughts !!!

Fabricate a system using some type of strap to over the top of the esc to hold it down, that should fix the problem. Before I had to send in myn mmm's I had two small latches on either side of the esc, and used a long oring between them, over the top, to hold the esc down. thats the system I will be using when I get them back. Also allows for easy removal if required.
