    alternate slash battery strap????

    anyone know of different battery straps for the slash other than the battery tray expansion kit? i thought i have seen some straps on here before but now i can't find any battery straps at all for the slash.

    Any battery straps will work on the Slash.

    I am guessing a 3s, since that's the only type you'd need an expansion for.

    well there are some odd shaped 8-10 cell nimh batteries too
    .

    Yes, this is true. And the battery holder couldn't hold those, even if it were extended.

    the ones that ive seen (its been awhile about 1-2 years ago) the were round like the sub C's but bigger and longer... are they thin now?
