That looks really good with that body. I didnt think E-Revo would look good with an F-650 body. Also I would keep that wing on too.
    Nice job.

I like it! I am a Ford guy, so it has that going for it. I would be interested in seeing some video of how it handles riding that high. Sweet job bud!

Though I'm sure handling isn't one of its greatest qualities anymore, I'd be very interested to see how well it jumps.

Garbage truck on stilts, yeah that's about it... I kept the wing because it's kinda the revo signature, IMO. It is actually mounted via bottom mounting holes of wing aligned with the top mounting holes of wing bracket. So instead of 4 screws holding it there are only 2. Without wing you can't really tell it's a REVO, what fun is that???

    Thanks for the compliments.

1st, I think your truck looks cool. It always amazes me when I see this truck become something different with such an easy change of parts. It looks like a true 1/7th MT. Great job man!

but "garbage truck on stilts" still made me lol

LOL i had to GM im glad u didnt take me the wrong way.I like to joke.LOL..It does look bad though. If u could get it wider at that stance u would be golden. But its the best of both worlds.Indestructable like an Erevo and it has the Stance and attitude of an Emaxx.I put my arms at the tallest setting and put the max steering in...

That is just incredible. You could put some 1/8th scale trucks to shame with that thing. Best of all it will handle any brushless motor you throw out it and come back for more.

That's really the selling point on the Summit, the transmission. No matter how much an E-Revo tries, it won't achieve the level of versatility IMO.

My E-Revo will not become a brushless. A brushed motor will remain on the Summit for snow, mud, water, etc.

I like it too. I have some MOAB's on my maxx and they are huge, but they look bigger on the Revo. Whats the ground clearance at the diffs?? It looks huge!

Great lookin truck. Is that the Pro-Line body?

Did you do anything special to get it to fit, like cut the tailgate out or raise your body posts?

The truck is back to a more manageable size with a less manageable power plant, Novak HV Pro 5.5. It did not stay like that for long, all the changes took the REVO out of it. But it did look good. The weight would get everything hotter quicker, stock setup w/nihm. As far as drivetrain, I don't think it was to bad on it, the truck was alot squattier while driving. I kinda jacked it all up for the picks. It is the Pro-Line F650 body, and I did cut a piece out of the tailgate so I could still use the wing. I used a set of TMAXX body post and hacked them up a bit but it was no big deal.
Thanks for the positive feedback, pretty funny, this post took a month and half vaction and then resurfaced. Anyway, needless to say I am pretty pumped about the Summit!!!

Do those kershaw arms linked earlier really make the E-revo 2 inches wider? That is awesome! Do you guys reccomend those arms (or the traxxas arms) for the E-revo? I would love to see an E-revo with the widened arms and wider offset rims, that would be sweet.
