    E-Revo + Lipo + Kershaw 700-HO Question.

    Sup Guys?

    1. Can someone explain to me how to charge a Lipo Battery? It's my first time.

    2. What runtimes will I see with Dual Kershaw 700-HO w/ EVX-2 and SPC 8000mah Lipos x2?

    3. How fast?

    4. Is it as simple at pluging in the Balnce Plug, Pluging in the TRX Connector and setting the charger to 8000mah, 2s and charge it?

    5. How long will it take to charger a 8A?

    6. Will a 10AMP Power Supply work for charging 1 battery at 8AMP?

    7. Anything else I need to know so I don't blow up my House and/or E-Revo?

I'm running one 700ho with the evx-2 and MA 8000 mah lipos.
72 spur and 20 tooth pinion. I also run the Novak 2s Smart-stop connect to just one of the batteries. I get run times in the 35-45 minute range. Last time out my motor di dget hot, but it also ran nonstop for 35 minutes climbing hills. emaxx and erevo are very similar, with both 700ho and the 68/24 the truck was just to fast for my son to handle.

Ok, Thanks. How would I connect the Smart-Stop and where and what one should I get?

Are the 700-HO worth it or should I just wait for Christmas and go Brushless?

Well i am running the Dual 700 HO's and love them.Im running the Novac 2s on the BEC side with great success.I am running the SMC 8000mah and get anywhere from 40minutes to and hour run time. But a little cool down session isnt a bad idea.If u run the SPC lipos down to the cut off which is in the safe zone(hasnt failed me yet) it will take about 1.5 hours for me to completely charge to packs in Sync mode on my Hyperion Duo.And a 10 Amp power supply should be more than sufficient for 1 pack at 8amps....U cant go wrong with the KD set up for the price and durability. And heres my set up.If u need help let me know!!!Top speed is much better but no rocket. All around torque and power is just insane.I wont go brushless.Got a 2 stroke coming for the larger playing fields.

I think I'm going to get two 650's for now and get Brushless for Christmas. Is the 650's a direct drop in and what pinion should I use?

Ok, Thanks. I think I am just getting stock titans and Lipos/Charger and going MMM and Neu or Feigao 8XL.

How much runtime will I get with 8000mah with STOCK TITANS?

Do you believe in reincarnation ?.. never mind

The 4s LVC can be used with the evx2, but it isnt simple to wire up. You need a digital multimeter and nerves of steel. Plug in your batts, and then probe the connections until you find the black and red wire that give you the full pack voltage (16.8v or there abouts); these are the 2 wires that you must connect the LVC to. It would be recommended to use a 2s lvc on the lipo that feeds the internal BEC, but whats done is done. Read the FAQ for much more lipo and LVC related advice.
Dont consult me, just read the FAQ.

Ditch the idea of Brush. Just get an ESC and brush less motor combo...
