New Era aluminum upgrades for Slash

Anyone have experience with this company? From looking at the website - www.neweramodels.com They have some good looking aluminum parts like control arms, shock towers, skid plates, trans case, and a few other odds and ends.. I'm very interested in the shock towers and trans case but my experience with aftermarket parts that claim to fit the Slash and don't like the Hot Racing CV/dogbone driveshaft kit I tried that didn't fit.. I'm a bit nervous to order anything else unless it's directly from Traxxas.

The aluminum transmission case you can get from FLM. New Era doesn't offer you a choice of toe-in for the arm mounts, and FLM does. Plus, FLM sells a trans case for a little cheaper. For shock towers I'd stick with RPM. The RPM parts are stiffer (at least the shock towers are) and more durable than the stock pieces, plus RPM offers a replacement guarantee should you find a way to break an RPM part.

New Era makes a rear skid plate for the Nitro Stampede, which I used after snapping 2 stock ones. This skid plate is ultra durable, and I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again.

^ So has Pro-Line. Two in fact. Dubbed the "HardCORR" and "Desert Rat". Both of which are spot on and make the Slash look excellent.
