Nitro tuning noob

Ok, Slayer is the first nitro rc I've ever owned and I'm still learning tuning. My question is this, after a few runs around the track the exhaust is wet, and while I probably already know the answer I wanted to ask people that have been doing this a while. Is the HSN too rich?

Also, when coming off of a straightaway and going into a turn when I hit the brakes it has stalled out a couple of times. When I bring it to a stop in front of me it idles fine so I don't think it's the idle needle. I just think there's too much fuel to burn causing it to come out the exhaust and also stall out. Is that a correct assumption? Thanks for any and all help.

The wet pipe, is oil, and not much to worry about unless its more of a stream comming out of it. that would be raw fuel, indicating anover rich engine, which is just as bad as to lean.

As a matter of fact it is in a left hand turn haha. Once or twice it did it going over a jump, but usually in the turn. Thanks for the info and the link much appreciated.

I had the same issue on my revo. to stop it, I got an after market fuel filter (I got the dynamite big daddy). Having the extra chamber of fuel so if air gets in the line, it will actually go to the filter and sit in there and slowly get pushed out, rather than tha bubble going right from the tank to the carb. I got the left hand turn right. Is it usually at about 1/2 tank or less as well?

Yea, it probably was around 1/2 tank but honestly I didn't really pay attention to it. Would this be a decent filter to put on?

I have heard mixed reviews on that filter (not just cause its integy....lol). I hear the primer bulb is a potential leak point, although any spot fuel line hooks up is a leak potential. It doesnt say in the tech notes, whether its a screen filter or a stone. Myself, I would prefer a stone filter.

Well, I was out and about this afternoon and stopped in at my LHS. Asked what fuel filters he had in stock, and he had the dynamite big daddy lol. So I picked up a red one and I'll be putting it on this evening.

There is no right or wrong way to install it, but there is a better way. Have it so the fuel enters the chamber then goes through the filter to the carb, rather than straight to the filter first (open it, and you will understand). That makes it easier to clean off if it clogs a bit.
