He who dies with the most toys wins !!!
i wont get them... plastic ones will strip if something goes wrong... if something has to get stuck in there with metal one's like a stone it could damage your transmisson and even more damage is likely...
isn't it mega too high in price ?? it's over 25%
of the total truck new ! you'd buy tons of stock gears
with this amount of cash.
thats true Desert... i thinks its a waste...
Tons of stock gears? I disagree, let's see:
#5586 - $4.79
#5585 - $6.69
#5579 - $9.29
Total - $20.77
So, a guy like me with a brushless Jato, or someone with a big block can destroy the stock plastic gears only 5 times to match the price, instead why not buy the metal ones...

Those are made from aluminum, will strip as easy as the stock ones...

Honestly, I would only want ONE GEAR from those two batches. And id pay 40 bucks just for it... That second gear is the ONLY thing holding me back on driving my Jato anymore.
If i could just buy the one gear from them, I would pay double what they ask for. I even think that the aluminum 2nd gear would hold up to my needs.
#mphModel: 60NR, 62Jato, 51Revo, 36Slash, 35MiniT
that’s what i’m pointing to. if you’re not running moded or different powerful engine
it’s a waste of money buying metal gears.
on the other hand with less than $90 average user or newbe should buy the following
and keep the extra dollars in bucket:
$20.99 servo
$7.99 f/turnbuckles
$4.79 f/shock tower
$9.49 rpm bumper
$10.99 f/aarms
$7.19 turnbuckles camper links
$2.89 spur X2
$7.69 slipper clutch rebuild
$11.99 clutch shoes
